Well why didn't you say so earlier?! That is almost a better idea. My thought though was that whatever development you are currently working on, is it not more expensive than just putting on tapatalk which is vert cheap, if not free (I got it free on my iPhone, I guess maybe there is a fully featured version)? If you say u don't want to have to pay, then would tapatalk be the better solution? The best solution would be to make one yourself, but requires more resources. Just some thoughts.

 

I just added this to our zsport.org forums and it works great. Very easy to add, and so what, it only costs $2.99 for us users. But makes life easy to read these forums on the run.

 

tried browsing the forum for the window motor regulator reset method and wanted to f'in kill myself browsing on my android based phone hahaha. went to google.

wish this would get implemented.

 

If you guys follow specific forums, try subscribing to the RSS feed and reading that while on the...it might surprise you

Nope. They are probably looking at where they can squeeze in another ad banner.

 

actually tapatalk crams in their own ads, and they also syndicate the content created on forums, which is a big no no.

We are hard at work on our own mobile product, it's our highest priority project currently.

Hopefully I will have some updates this week.

Great news... I already own Tapatalk and love it but I'd love to have a nice free app from IB.

BTW, what exactly is wrong with syndicating? Name one top 10 website that doesn't syndicate it's content. Not syndicating is a little silly in this day and age but maybe you're not talking about the same thing as I am.

After being a big advocate for tapatalk, I'm not sure how I feel about it anymore. Anytime you run a third party application within your forum, you could potentially have issues. There was some sort of security issue with tapatalk last week and some other issues on their end, which actually slowed down one of my forums. In fact, I had to uninstall it from one of my sites for a few days. So with that said, I think it's better that internet brands develops their own phone app for their forums. A site like couldn't afford the downtime I experienced. As for when IB will release their phone app? Who knows... lol

There is a team of people working on it as we speak. Like any new release, this kind of thing can take some time to get right, and we don't want to give you guys a product that does not work right.

Mobile access is one of our top priorities at the moment. Progress is being made daily, and soon enough, you will be able to have free mobile access to my350z.
