Suggestion for Marketplace listings and shipping
I’m not sure if this is the appropriate forum to post this message, but if it’s not in the correct place, it will get moved.
Notice that almost everyone selling on the Marketplace gives a price for what they are selling, and then say they will not ship the product. They say stuff like “local pick-up only,” ‘will drive to meet buyer,” etc.
Since the Marketplace broadcasts its sales to everywhere, I think providing a shipping price separate from the product’s price make sense. There is only about five zones for ground shipping, so why not take advantage of this when selling something?

First off, people who are not willing to ship should really be listing in the Regional Marketplace or Regional forum. That was the main reason for including separate marketplaces under most regions.
I feel most sellers are going to be too lazy to figure out generic shipping rates from their location to other regions, if that's even possible. Hell, that may be the very reason that you have sellers that don't want to ship - the hassle of shipping rates, packing, then dealing with the risks of fraud, in-transit damage or loss, etc.

I may be shopping for 18s, but am willing to buy 19s or 20s. so why make it harder to stumble across something that you may not have been looking for but end up wanting?
I think its fine as is. i feel like i can communicate with customers well, and that they are getting the info they need and can find it easily
