Bullish--Vic didn't ban him. But I know we get tired of hearing that accusation all the time, so it's difficult not to come with with a sarcastic remark when someone uses it.

 

WHy not if someone makes a post like that, they just put a warning, like NWS, menaing Not Work Safe (or Not Wife Safe)?

we went over this before. even held a poll to see if it should be allowed, but for every one of you that publicly said they wanted it, 2 PMed me and said it wasnt appropriate. no joke, my box filled up in a day.

basicly the concensus was if you want **** there are countless places to find it. dont need this forum with it too... some unchecked debates about anything can be fun, and most anything goes here except nudity. hell talk about it all you want, I dont think anyone minds(tho try to keep the language civil) but just dont post or link to anything explicit like that. PM each other if you need to. but remember this site doesnt have a age consent on it, better if we can keep it that way.

Just my opinion:

I agree that inappropriate images attached to messages would hinder the thread essentially as unsafe for viewing from work or with the family, but a clicking any internet link should be taken with discretion anyway. I don't see why the board should ban a link as long as its clearly defined as to what to expect.

Misleading links and attached pics are an exception and should be cleaned out without argument if they're inappropriate, but why ban descriptive referrals to other internet sites?

 

lines always become blurred, the next logical step is to say if the thread is clearly labels as to whats in it, how is it any different than clearly labeling a link within a thread?

its just one of those things thats either all in or all out, its not that bad.

if you dare try, visit the out there forum of clubsi.com sometime, you must be registered to view it. it is an anything goes setting, VERY few things will be deleted; but the place is seriously nuts; its a fine forum, but I sure dont want this forum to end up like that. kinda blurs the definition of whether its a car forum or just a chat forum. I personally keep 2 windows open and view both forums, you can find me over there on the same name as here. what you cant get here you can get there, and vice versa.
