Infractions are like points on your license in France. You know you're a good member and it won't happen again....it's no biggie.

I think one thing that all mods would agree upon is that policing the Marketplace is their least favorite part of this job. I can't imagine any of them getting power-crazy over it.

 

Well I will add one thing. In the market place I have seen a little favoritism. But this guy has enough I trader to vouch for him. So I would understand why he's upset.

 

i remember when the mods gave me an infraction for posting a vid with "nudity", it was off youtube...

If you see a post that breaks the TOU, please report it. Sometimes we don't catch everything - especially with the volume of posts on here.

And iTrader, Premier Member, Mod, or Admin doesn't give any of us the ability to not meet the TOU requirements (especially not in the Private Marketplace). There are too many shops and members that have proven the fact that a good history doesn't mean that someone won't turn to the dark side and start ripping people off. I've even had one of my own for sale threads deleted and warned because I forgot a verification slip. When I saw that I'd messed up, I face palmed, apologized for not doing what I was supposed to, and I corrected it.

 

I get depressed at all the stuff I WANT to buy but CANNOT when approving threads.

 

I get depressed at all of the money I've spent buying stuff on here since I became a mod and started policing the marketplace. I am sooooo broke now. It's like putting a coke addict in charge of packaging and shipping all the yayo out of Colombia.
