in all serious it does take quite some time...i've sold my last two marketplace listings on other forums before the post is even approved on here the last couple of times

It is inversely proportional to your itrader rating. My threads are approved before I even decide to sell an item.

 

I am pretty sure the mods take paypal donations.

Yes, the approval timeframe can and will vary. Most mods aren't obsessively refreshing the Marketplace to check for new threads, so it's only natural to have a slight downtime.

 

If you guys need a dedicated "approval mod," let me know. I just woke up this morning and saw new items in the Marketplace that were sent for approval 2 days ago and just appeared within the last 8 hours

I understand it's for our protection but I think it really takes away from the member's accessibility to good parts. Additionally, the phrase "I sold my items on Driver before my listing was approved on here" is becoming all too common.

 

I'd do this. My feedback in this sub forum was used verbatim to suggest the process and provided the reasoning for doing so, right after my post was removed.

I like helping to streamline processes.
