For those that ordered there car. This is the first automobile I have orddered from the factory, and have a few questions. When will the dealer have an idea as too when the car will be coming in? Are the notified when the car is complete? On the boat? In route once in the states? Or what?

I placed the order on March 29th and the car hasn't arrived yet. The dealer just told me that they had to wait for an allocation spot to become available in order for them to order my car. The recent timeframe I received was the end of the month, an extra 2 weeks or so, from original timeframe.

Any help would be great. I am thinking about going in and asking to see some sort of information that shows that my car is actually built.

Plus they told me I won't be getting a 2003, but a 2004. This has me concerned since I didn't think the 2004's were coming out until fall.

i'm also awaiting my z... any day now.....
i ordered mine at the end of march as well. in early april i got a call from the dealership telling me my "order" number. then 2 weeks ago, i got another call notifying me of my vin.#. and they do not have a definite delivery date as of yet, but they said end of june or first week of july. i'm pretty sure that mine will be a 2003 and not a 04. this in my first time ordering a car as well and the wait is harder than i anticipated. i think that your dealer is waiting for the 04s.... if you can't wait, tell them to find you a 03 at another dealer.

 

Why don't you guys call around to the other dealers and find the car you're looking for?

I decided to buy on 5/15 and by 5/31, I found, negotiated to my satisfaction, bought and brought home my new Brickyard Performance from a dealer that was 350 miles aways.

I tried that but after searching for the entire month of March throughout a 500 mile radius I could not find a SS Enthusiast 6MT. Which is why I placed the order for my SS Enthusiast 6MT.

I just called the dealer to get my VIN #. So we will see what happens.
