Default How do I STOP email notification?

I guess I have the opposite problem from everyone else. I want to stop email notification of my subscribed threads. I checked my settings for email notification and it is still on "No." So what do I do now? I get way too many emails from this.

"Use 'Email Notification' by default?" Highlight "No"

As I stated in my first post, my Email Notification is already set to "No." Thanks for the suggestion Mike but what else do you think I can try?

Does anyone know what I could do to stop these emails? The only thing I can think of would be to unsubscribe to every thread. That isn't a good option. Any help would be appreciated.

Ok, I gave that a shot and it didn't work. It is so annoying to go to your inbox and see 20 emails notifying you that someone has responded to a subscribed thread. Someone please tell me how to stop it!

Is this just impossible to stop or have yall never heard of this before or do you just not have the slightest idea of why it would be doing this?

"unsuscribe from all threads"

looks like a winner to me.

So yalls advice is to unsubscribe from all threads and never subscribe to any more again? I kinda already knew that would solve the problem but I was hoping for a solution in which I would be able to subscribe to threads like everyone else but also not get 39403988709482290884093 emails a day. Thanks for the help...

Wait, I think we aren't on the same page. I got lost somewhere. I want to be able to subscribe to threads without getting email notification every time someone posts in a thread I have subscribed to. All the threads I am subscribed to right now are ones I want to be subscribed to. What is it that yall are asking me to do?
