I've noticed in random threads that some words are underlined and linked to eBay auction sites. When I put the cursor over the link it says:

"Link added by VigLink"

Most recently it happened in this thread with the word "tires:"

The computer at work won't allow me to take screen shots but I've ran across this problem a few times today. I thought it may be just this work computer but it happened at home this morning as well

 

Links found on my iPhone as well. Not just eBay links.

Not much you can do on a phone, but if you use Firefox or Chrome as your browser. the DoNotTrackMe extension does the trick:

IB is working on the problem. In the mean time, they have disable the feature.
