It seems most of the sponsors don't post prices and always want you to message or call them. It's really a pain in the *** to call every sponsor to get prices.

I understand that they may not be able to post certain prices online, especially if they are below a price the manufacturer posts.

However, here's the idea...

A WTB forum where members can post what they want. Sponsors can then subscribe to the thread and either post a price or PM. What this does is makes it easier for the members to get the best pricing, as well as allow the sponsors that are willing to work for our business to get it.

It's similar to a Request For Quote process.. we tell the sponsors what we want, and they give us prices. I would also suggest that sponsors NOT be allowed to post in the thread unless posting a price. Otherwise, they will all just post up something like, "PM us."

In addition to what AdvanZ33 has already posted, I believe we have something similar (although used differently) in place currently: our WTB threads in each Marketplace subforum. If our Vendors choose to do so, they are welcome to subscribe to those threads to get in touch with potential customers.
