Default Search functions

Many times on here you hear the phrase "search the forums" or " this has already been posted in another thread", unfortunately, that has not been very productive for me.

No matter how specific I try to be in my searches, I end up with 400 posts, and no way to look within them for what I want except scrolling through 20 pages for each thread.

Am I doing something wrong? Most forums I have spent time on show the actual post within the thread when you search rather than just the thread title...

I use google. I just type what I'm looking for, followed by "my350z"

you need to use advanced search and select "titles only"
