Can someone create a rule that you can't bump a thread that is years old unless your account has met a certain requirement? These bumps are getting ridiculous and bring up threads that were likely never finished/answered.

 

nope...there are no laws against being stupid...

(or I'd be locked up for life)

It would be nice if a little prompt would pop up and say 'hey stupid, you're replying to a thread old enough that it can buy cigarettes, you sure you want to do this?'

 

FWIW when I see reposts on ancient threads I roll my eyes and know it's usually a noob. I'll read the whole thing and try to understand if there's any value from knowledge, entertainment or comedy. If not, it's gone forever.
