Default Scrolling Screen

At the office, I think I have a small 17" or 18" monitor, much smaller than my nice 20" at home. Every so often, I find I have to scroll left to right because the page doesn't fit on this monitor.

I believe this has to do with the length of some thread names. Where there are very long thread titles with no spaces, the screen goes beyond normal sizing. I am betting that if some of the longer forum names like wheels/tires/suspension/brakes or audio etc. were reduced in length, everything would fit.

Alternatively, I could change text size but that's a pain. What is the chance of reducing one of the columns size by adjusting the forum name so we don't have this recurring problem for a standard sized monitor?

This is a Victor thing, but where exactly do you mean the text is too long? I can find any place like that even when I make my browser window very small.

It's like the full page wont fit on the screen so I will have to scroll left to right to see everything.

I know, but which screen? The most limiting factor I can find that relates to any page width is the my350z graphic at the very top of the page.

Here's the thing. Sometimes the page fits fine. Other times, it doesn't. It's like those instances when the pic is to big so you have to scroll to the right to see it all. Not sure if it's a graphic or if it's the text.

Anyways, thanks for taking the time to look into it. It's overall not a big deal, just a little annoying.

It's always been a image issue for me. The text always automatically wraps, but when someone's sig is really wide or someone's linked a huge pic in a post, then I'll have to scroll across, too.

That's about all I know.

Hi Christi!

This problem happens for me in "search results" rather than just within an opened thread.

sounds like an issue with the size of people's pictures, nothing i can do unless it is a signature.
