The only reason i am saying the following is that i love this site and its people, and really care about the impertant issues that have been going on, and want many others in the future to brnifit from it.
this site used to be my life. i have been a member since a 1 1/2 now.
used to come here 5 times a day, but now its sloooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo ooooooooooooooow, took me 20 min. to post a new thread here,
i am outtie from here, youll moderators need to take cars of this problem fast.

 

ive noticed this also, if you guys need some donations to upgrade bandwidth, im all for it.

 

This site used to be your life and you have a sum total of 30 posts to your name in a year and a half with five visits a day? Wow, you're pretty passive. I've only been on here since February-ish of this year. Guess that makes me the real loser, huh?

 

I'm with Durrr... When I was on IS300.net, members who made donations had "is300.net supporter" under there screen name. Just an idea.

Yes, the site is SLOW.....

It's not ALWAYS slow... Just seems to need a kick in the pants the past few days!

 

Geez....touchy much? I wasn't digging on you at all, it was just an observation! Sorry you took it as a flame. I was honestly shocked to hear that someone who visited the site as much as you claimed to have, had so few posts, that's all.

So no, I don't have to be a ****ing sarcastic ****. I don't like to get attention for stupid reasons. If I did, I would make an off-topic post in the Coupe/Roadster section that really belonged in the site feedback forum. Now THAT would be looking for attention for stupid reasons.

It is seriously one of the slowest sites I've been on. Go to honda-tech.com where they probably get 2-3 times more traffic than this site, but is 10 times faster than this site.

350Mark--I can post images fine. Just put [IMG] ["backslash"IMG] between your image...with the "backslash" being / of course--or is that a front slash? Don't know

 

I agree. Of all of the 350Z sites I browse, this one is BY FAR the slowest one.

Yeah, I know it's the biggest one, but with all of these sponsors, Tako should have MORE than enough $ to upgrade this thing so it flies like the other sites.

Either that or just have him sell one of his Lambos!

Yeah, it used to be "super slow", then it was okay, now it's back to "normal slow".

 

Hmm, there have been a couple days that I thought it was a bit slow, but lately is has been pretty quick, at least for me ..

 

I think the point is that the site has a reached a "critical mass" of sorts. Most people (including myself) agree that this is one of the least responsive sites that I frequent on the internet, yet I still keep coming here, just like always. This forum has the most owners contributing the most useful information, so I tolerate the slowness. Tako's not stupid, he knows that people continue to come here without him spending additional dollars on new hardware or increased bandwidth. It would take a mass, sponsor affecting exodus from this site to prod him into improving our experience here.

The "This site is slow" topic has been discussed so many times since I've been here, and nothing's ever been done about it. It's clear to me that it's not on the "to do" list for the owner. Additionally, I'm sure the, "You're not paying for it, so you don't have much right to complain" philosophy applies. Right or wrong, that's another topic.

 

well i come here to read this forum to see whats new with the site and its nothing ever new. the same ole stuff, so i just went elsewhere. maybe everyone should think about that!!!

 

Eh, I personally think all the other forums suck compared to this one. But that's my opinion, and like I said, this site is not slow for me.
