I heard things were going to be improved, but wow, the site is a lot faster. I hope it stays that way. Great work whoever has been working on the fix.

 

Yeah, I noticed this as well. I know Victor gets loads of crap when the site's not as fast, so count me among those giving props. I like this.

Well, the forums are back up after a nearly 24-hour downtime.... and running slow as ever. The forums seem to crash every week. I've been on this site for years and have never seen it this bad.

This site needs a major fix in a major way.... or one day the few of us left will be sitting around wondering where everyone went.

 

This site is hit and miss.

BTW, yall noticed the avatars are gone!

 

This must be a temporary measure. I don't think anything was fixed and the fact that images aren't being displayed (including avatars) points to a band-aid type fix and not a permanent one.
