Its a Temp Fix..
I've been working with Mike on the stuff behind the scenes to figure out what keeps crashing the site so with that in mind some of the extra features are turned off for the time being..
In general its a Bandaid till the real problem is resolved. When will the fix be dont know could be today could be tomorrow depends on what it is either way its being worked on.
Mike can only do so much through vBulletin (the program side) and has limited or no access on the server side..

i think you mean bandwidth, dave. Anyways, I cant say i am happy with the site recently. I frequent all z sites, and this one has always been the slowest. For the most part I chose to keep to myself and not ***** about it but this is almost too much. It would be one thing if someone with authority posted about what was going on, but lately getting information about whats happening to the site is like pulling teeth. We ask the admins, who can not expect us to be 100% happy with whats going on, and many of them snap at us. I realize it is a sore subject but cant we all be adults about this and discuss this without bashing or bitching. I think what everyone wants is: 1) for someone to step up and make a long and/or informative post explaining that the issues the site has been having should not be normal nor tolerated and that it is in the process of being fixed. 2) possibly explain how you all are going aobut fixing it and maybe giving us a timeframe of when this fix will be implemented fully? i think thats all most of us want, just some answers. I dont understand why it is so hard for Mike and some of the other mods/admins to just bite the bullet, admit you all are having trouble and still be nice about it all. Making posts like "i have answered these all before" doesnt help us, i dont understand how we can have people like this administrating the site, arent we supposed to be some sort of community? we all share the same interests, stop the bitching and smart *** remarks and keep us informed! I think that is more than fair.
The images seem to be limited to one per person. Since I have a graphic in my sig, I haven't been able to put up the simplest smilie... have been using the old school emoticons

All we ask is simple honest answers. Admit it, this site is in dire need of a better server and many other upgrades.
Why do certain admin's have to think they are god and above a lot of us here? Please!
