Default Greddy TT install in progress...got some questions...

Ok so I started working on the install on monday and so far have about 25 hours in the install. Got the ECU all wired up, both manifolds and what not but here are some of my questions.

1. The driver's side turbo is completely bolted up and torqued down, but the passenger one is bolted up but the one on the front side I can't figure out how to get torqued down. What should I use to tighten this bolt up?

2. Back to the driver's side (cause I haven't got this far on the passenger side), I can't seem to get the downpipe adapter to bolt up to the turbo and wastegate evenly. It just doesn't fit perfect. I have it on one stud on the turbo and bolted to the w/g on one side, but I can't get another bolt in the turbo, it just doesn't fit by like a millimeter. Any suggestions?

Thats all the important questions right now, the other problems I'm having is just the working in a tight spot and everything trying to get bolts on (passenger side oil feed line and some intake and i/c piping). But any other little pointers would be helpful.

1. you should be able to fit a wrench in there, just torque it down by hand as hard as you can. it's not the best way, but pretty much your only choice when installing the kit with the motor in the car.

2. make sure all the bolts are loose on the adapter, this should give you enough clearance to thread the other bolt. once you have all the bolts threaded, then begin to tighten them down.

have fun getting the passenger side charge pipe on, it's a pain in the ***. but don't worry, just keep working with it, it fits, although just barely.

Good luck! My tuner had to "make" a tool to tighten up the wastegate . . . In hindsight, he thought it would be an easier install if they loosened the engine from its mounts and slightly rotated the whole thing (to gain working space) . . .

Yes we used some shorty wrenches with a prybar against something (very carefully) to get the bolts and nuts torqued down. You may want to use some blue locktite so they don't vibrate loose later. Keep an eye on your wastegates for leaks, etc. after having the kit on for a short while.
