Default AAM Return System Users - Need Help

I am currently running the AAM return system, and when I turnm the car off, the fuel pressure guage immediately drops to 0. I believe mine drops to 0 because I have a fuel leak somewhere, but was hoping you guys could help. Can you tell me what your guage reads immediately after shutting off the car? TIA

The pressure drops due to the type of regulator we use. If there is no flow from the pump then the regulator drops pressure. As soon as you turn the key to the on position it should turn the pump on for a few seconds and then the system will repressurize.

Some factory regulators keep the system pressurized when it is turned off, some don't.

Do you smell any gas?

I replaced the O-ring between the pump and the assembly and the car now slowly drops pressure, but maintains enough to start the car.... problem solved.

Which O-Ring are you refering to? Not the big one that seals the assembly to the tank cover..correct?

i think hes talking about the push on seal that goes on the output nipple of the fuel pump and then pushes into the plastic fuel pump housing?

Yep, phunk nailed it, and thanks for the help too.

Just an fyi, Nissan will not sell this part w/o the whole fuel assembly which is over $300. I went to a shop that sells o-rings and got one that was better quality with a better fit.
