I am having a Vortech SC installed in the next week and was wondering what the ideal A/F ratio should be. I just want make sure I know what to look for when I have it tuned. So far the only other mods I have are Top Speed headers, test pipes, y-pipe, 3 inch pipe (no cats), and Greddy SP2. With that in mind what should my A/F ratio be?
How about if I add a APS or Crawford plenum to the mods?
Thanks

Thanks Booger. What's the best way to tune the kit? I was thinking about the R4 software but I called two local shops and they told me they never heard of the R4. One shop said I needed the e-manage to tune.
WTF! I don't want to spend another $450. How did you tune yours?

Get the R4 software from Split Second. You might send a "PM" to: coletta z He is in Florida and used a tuner named Sam to tune his Vortech using R4 software. I also think: CaneZMD has the R4 software and also lives in Florida.
