i think this turbo would be okay. Not the best choice if you drive in the city or drive a lot period. Think about how much clearance the Z/G already has to start with and imagine a drop on the car. My issues would be what if out car bottoms out or going up and down a sharp hill, gravel/sand hitting the turbo and of course the intake water bypass. Lastly, the filter would be extremely dirty as we all know the bottom of our car is where they collect the most arount of debri.

The problem is water getting into the engine.

The air intake is off the turbo, which is under the back of the car, really close to the ground...this would be worse than a CAI in many situations, especially just daily driving in the rain....

Cool idea...interested to see it in action.

The plumbing will be interesting as well for the Z, since there's hardly any room for additional piping from the back of the car to the front. There should be room for the intake and turbo if this system removes the stock muffler, however. Dirt may be an issue, but if you place a shield in front of the intake, this shouldn't be too much of a problem. I'd be interested to see them develop a system for the Z.

Is there really a good reason to post "moved" into a dead thread? I keep getting these email notifications and every time I look it is you posting "moved". Please just move the thread if you feel the need to but, please do not revive it....

Other than for people who remembered seeing a certain thread, and then look back through and can't find it, no.

I'm getting something worked out to delete all of the moved posts I made.
