Here is the email that I got from Andy on 3/3:

None yet. The mechanic has been the hold up. In theory, the pipes are going for bending this week, but I'm beginning to think I'll need to seek out some other sources for the work. Will post when there is some relavent info.

Guys, I apologize. The mechanic has not been able to follow through on this project. It's not dead, but it is definitely a back burner item.

I'll continue to provide updates if any news comes along. If we get a working prototype on a Vorteched car, you'll be the first to know. But until then, I'd say if you have or find another option, take it.

Due to ZDayZ responsibilities, I have not done much with this lately. I'll talk to Mark today (he's doing a race day tech inspection for me) and see if there is any possibility he'll come through on this in the near future.

If not, I'll try to farm the work out once ZDayZ has passed (end of May).

I have been talking to another manufacturer that is "going to start production this week" on a very similar part. I am not getting my hopes up but, I think I should have one of their first pieces sometime late next week or early next. If it looks good and fits, I will post the link and/or start a GB. Hopefully this one goes a little better than the last one I tried to get going...

teh215... keep us posted. If something materializes on your end, I have an email list of people (including me) that will be interested.

Also, it appears this project is not dead. Talked to Mark yesterday and he is having some pipes bent next week! Not sure how close this is to finished product, but he is working on it still. Guess it's a race to see who comes up with something functional and practical first. Ain't capitalism wonderful?

I'm sure we're not. My fabricator is a local shop in Charlotte I deal with a lot that does quite a few one-off custom pieces
