Default Apex turbo kit

I was browsing through some TAS pics and notice the Apex 350z.

And under the hood, well, it's a clear hood:

Now, is it me, or is the plenum backwards, meaning the front is in the rear and the rear is in the front? Did they rearrange the whole engine in there or what?

And has anyone heard of Apex making a turbo kit for our cars?

Yep, looks like they ran the exhaust up the firewall in the back and up into the turbo. Then it goes through the normal intake tract down to the intercooler and back up the front of the engine through the custom intake manifold. Moving the throttle body position is simple since we have electronic throttle instead of cables.

well, looking at the angle of the plenum, it looks like the whole engine was rotated 180 degrees, since it angles upwards instead of downwards, from back to front.

I would say they added to the front of the plenum [ well back of a stock one ] . Looks like they removed a bunch of the plastic up against the fire wall too . Movinig the motor foward would really upset the way the car handled , I would think
