I heard that stillien is the only FI that works on an Auto 350z.. is this true? I thought vortech did...

 

Ok well i know u can turbo and sc it, it will work... but my question is, does it take more work to make it work correctly? extra fabricating? does it put alot more strain on my trans and possibly blow it?

It's about the same as a manual. Once you start turning up the boost from stock setup, you will need to upgrade the tranny, except the manual will need a new flywheel and clutch and the auto needs the valve body redone and the tq converter. Both will cost you about the same for both trannys. Stock auto can take up to 450hp from what I am told. Then you will need to change the tq converter for sure.

 

Ya i dont plan to push more then 450 really for now...
I heard it was just stupid to upgrade Auto, but i like havn it, and dont really want to switch, would it be stupid to turbo it?
Nitrous350, thats crazy, how much boost are you running, and how much are you puttn at the wheels?
How much did you put, for the turbo, and what else did you upgrade after the turbo to make it stable, or run good.

I had a Racing Edge Converter & Valve Body Upgrade + After Market Trans. Cooler + 6MT 3.58 FD
and my engine has little more

Trans. Oil Tem. = 65c
Boost = 80 kpa (11.6 PSI)
Nitrous = around 50 Shot (36 Jet Nitrous / 18 Jet Fuel)
A/F Ratio = 10:1
EGT = 870c
Tire = MT ET Street Drag ..

First We don't have Dyno in My Small Island so I don't know How much HP I had in my 350Z but Until this Point my Trans. is O.K

What you Guys think?
My car weight at 3,700lbs with me and I'm ran 12.27..
How Much HP I Get now ???

 

Ive got the ATI procharger
7lbs of boost
350whp
287lb/ft of torque
runs great, dont have any tranny upgrades and the shifts are tab bit sluggish but nothing some new valvebodys and a torque converter cant fix...hopefully this summer though...

We've tested our Twin Turbo system on numerous automatics.

 

Ok what would be everyones suggested upgrade if i got a TT kit, like Greddy, what would i need EXACTLY, including gauges and everything, just want to know.
And if i got a SC, like Vortech or ATI, what would i need?
