Greddy Evo2 questions
I have installed my Evo2 and got some kind of rattle noise in the back. Maybe its from the Evap kit but have to get it checked out. Now the question is, the pipe coming off of the Y-pipe, many people say it looks different than what they have. Mine goes into one pipe then splits out into two like the picture shown below. Now I need some confirmation if I got the right setup or not. Cause to me, it dont look like a true dual anymore.
You can see the pics of my exhaust at the link below, but yes, you got the right system. The EVO2 does come to a single pipe, then split back off into two pipes to go to the mufflers. Someone has said there is a reason for this, but I'm not sure what that is.

Is for Back Pressure... The first Prototype (the one that have the Promotional Greddy 350Z) was to much for N/A set ups, so they do this design for all set ups and lunching it to production... It work perfectly with FI set ups.
Hope this help!

It's correct...looks great. Mine ratttles too. It takes some repositing for a while to get that thing quite....mine still makes a bit of noise. It's pretty tight up in there. Try using some insulation material to quite it.

The Evap relo box is not rattleing. It's the part of the muffler right about the rear crossmember. Give that a bang with your hand, and you'll hear the rattle. The pipe is almost resting on that crossmemeber...so any bump..and it rattles.
At least that has been my experience.
Performance gains were good. MArginal peak power increase, BUT huge increase in trq/qhp across the board...roughly 30ft/lbs or so. It was quite impressive...gets those turbos spooling much faster.
