Default APS TT kit - daily driveability

Those with the APS tt kit.....how are the daily driving characteristics of the kit. I know some kits have a few bobbles and farts when off boost but how is the APS kit off boost??? Thanks.

Very very smooth. No issue's whatsoever. Even better than the Audi S4 I had when I was stage 3.

Really! My buddy had a 2001 S4 with the APR? upgrade and after 1 tranny and 2 turbos called it a day. This is the info I am looking for...realworld experiences and feedback....awesome!! This is the stuff that backs up the hours of research and info gathering on a product. Thanks guys....keep it coming.

Thumbs up

I have drove the new C6 and the APS TT is at least as powerful and fast if not more so in comparison. It definetely feels like this is how the Z should of been made from the factory.

I've been driving my APS TT roadster daily now for2 months. Drives real smooth like a stock engine until you give it the gas and then it jumps up to hyperspeed in no time. You have to be careful or you'll give yourself a whiplash.

I've been driving mine how for 4 1/2 months and not a single issue except for chewing out the stock clutch at the track last month. It's great begin able to use 6th gear just like it was 5th gear when the car was N/A'd it has so much torque.

Cheers

4.5 months and over 7000 miles on my APS and the car is silky smooth. Even better than stock in my opinion. Their is basically no lag and no sudden suges or loss of power anywhere in the rpm range... Drive it as easy or hard as you want with no issues!

Default 5AT TipTronic?

How will the APS TT work with a 5AT TipTronic?

how much was the Install
and what other items do I need to buy
thats really necessary in the 5AT?

also, i'm planning on keeping the internals stock,
is this a proper way for installing the APS TT?

Wide a$$ rims and tires, wings and ailerons, rudder, NASA space food, toilet paper, retro rockets, large O2 supply, space environment suit and factory nav.

Just wondering how you've contributed to the thread instead of making useless comments like this?

Other items you might want to get:
torque converter
Tires with more grip (maybe even wider if you get new wheels)
pistons
rods
arp head and main studs
Yeah, getting someone who's installed the APS kit onto a 350Z before to install it.
