Default State Inspection testing after FI... any experiences yet?

I was lucky to get 4 years before I have to go to state inspection.. Anyone get thier car tested after an aftermarket FI system... did anyone pass or fail miserably... what are your plans when it comes time to get a new sticker?

Had it done in November for the first time. Passed with no problem, except they made me take off the tint on the side windows, which sucked. So its ok here in dallas

hey pretty cool.... im not sure how leanient TX is.. probably more than NJ... but its good to know you passed with high flow cats as well... stock boost?

Sorry about the tint... but I guess its cheaper than uninstalling a 4 figure mod... if you want to look at it in a positive way... and then having to replace it..

The catch in dallas on the OBDII is that as long as it does not send a SES light it will pass. Pretty simple. That was the main reason I went with high flow cats over test pipes. this was at 9.5psi boost.

yup........ usually put feelers out to find someone that will help you pass. in CO to get your car liscensed you have to have proof of emissions passing, i paid a guy, and he printed out another sheet from an mr2 that passed, and just changed the vin on it....
i know, illegal, but what are you gonna do?
the nice thing about where i live right now, and when i was in Iowa for school was no emissions tests (hence why the black mr2 had no mufflers, no cats, and i had removed all the emissions control equipment.)
