hey tim , how the heck did you get an extra set of rods? man those would have gone like hot cakes a month ago. off subject but is your motor being built right now?

 

I got quite a few responses on the rods. I did not order an extra set, but the shop that normally works on my car did. I know alot of people want/need these quickly, so I thought I would help. They are asking $1150, but they are not mine. The price may be negotiable, but you would have to call to discuss. The shop is Jotech Racing in Garland, TX, and they only have one set.

Paul, you'd be surprised at how many people still need these. The car is at SGP right now, the motor is out and and the machine shop is beginning work on the heads and pistons this week. I am looking at 4 to 5 weeks from now. How is yours going?

 

my shortblock should be done by the end of the week. im planning on taking my car to cj sometime next week so im about 3-4 weeks from being done. so both of our cars should be done around the same time.

 

where were these rods a month ago!!!???
