bensin, for 380-420rwhp, you don't need anything other than a turbo kit. Any higher and i'll tell you what else you need.

Yes sir, I definitely want to go higher than that - won't be any time soon because I still have to look into everything and research different brands, etc... since I'm new to this. I would more than appreciate any help in getting started and your personal recommendations on parts, vendors/manufacturers and so on if you don't mind. Thanks again.

The twin charger has seen the most use on diesel truck engines where they use roots type for huge amounts of increased torque down low and switch to the single large turbo over 2.5k (or so). With a large truck diesel engine you don't care about the extra weight.

I'm not sure how the switch works.

Personally, I like the low end of a roots type SC. Thus I own a stillen.

FI is a very individual choice, there is not a right and wrong answer.

Arias pistons and Pauter rods. 8.6:1 compression ratio, .020 overbore. ARP head and main studs. That's all you'll need for 650-700rwhp and under, if you are going to see 650+ regularly you may want to get some sleeves.

The P51 is twincharged ~1750 horses. There are two theories to this double compression, one is to compress the air with one compressor or the other like everyone is discussing, the other is to feed the compressed air from a turbo to another turbo or supercharger and compress it again. This is how you do real well with efficiency and huge pressure ratios.

However, for the Z car, a set of twin turbos will make all the power you need. Use the PE ones for ~500 or less, APS ones if you want ~700 or less, and Greddy for ~800 or less. The turbochargers will also cost a lot more than the superchargers and take much longer to install.
