Default Ethanol blended fuel - 94 octane

I have local access to ethanol blended 94 octane fuel. I was thinking about it this morning for boosted applications. Since it typically burns cooler than a standard gasoline I wonder if it would be a better choice for higher boost motors than a standard octane fuel. I have seen many of the turbo sport compact racers go to methanol for it's better cooling characteristics and I am just curious if ethanol blended fuel would have the same benefits???

Ethanal, white gas, etc.... is a bg no-no for 2 stoke motors such as snowmobiles. Not sure if it is valid for modern cars....just thought I would pass it along....
