A coworker knows some "reknown turbo expert" who suggested I get an HKS twin turbo and AEM piggyback and run at 6psi.

um dumb question, does HKS even make a turbo kit at all for the Z?

I've never heard of it and isn't listed on their website. Obviosly thinking I won't have him install a turbo when I decide to bite the bullet.....just frusturating cause I said to my coworker "does HKS even make a turbo kit for the Z? I've never heard of it"

HKS makes a supercharger for the Z..

they never made a turbo kit, which kind of disappointed me to be honest.

 

AEM doesn't have an EMS yet. (we'll be lucky if we see it again this year) And HKS makes a supercharger.

 

yeah i think the "expert" might know turbos, but doesn't know the Z. Just assumed those companies have the best everything regardless of people's experiences with the Z. It's even funnier that those parts don't exist...

 

top secret makes a turbo kit for the Z33 now and they use a GT30 PRO JDM HKS Turbo. Heres a link to the Top Secret web site. Yes it does keep with the Top Secret tradition of being kinda pricey too.Top secret
theres not much information about the kit on there and I haven't been able to find much info on it either, but I haven't gotten a chance to do much looking anyway.

 

It does not work on the USDM 350Z.
