Default Vortech SC Install "?s"

I am trying to get cash for a Vortech SC install and was wondering what other items I should purchase. I was thinking about the following parts:

Vortech Satin SC for 5AT -- $4400
APS Oil Pan -- where can I buy this?
Defi D Boost Gauge -- $110
2 Defi D EGT Gauges -- $195 ea (Do I need 2 since I have a dual exhaust system or will 1 suffice?)
NGK Iridium Plugs -- $10 ea (Should I get 1 or 2 steps colder?)
Installation -- About $800

Let me know what everyone thinks about this shopping list. Let me know if there is anything else I should buy. I am probably going to buy this stuff myself so I can save $$$ instaed of having the install shop buy it. Any comments are greatly appreciated. Keep in mind my current mods listed below.

TIA
Zach

I just got done with my install and that list looks good. I also added the autopatch wiring harness, it was 300.00 but I can return the wiring to stock in a few min. It also makes the install easy. I also bought the oil pan spacer from Paul for 100.00

Im just waiting for all my stuff to come in.

Vortech SC
SS R4 Program
Zetronix Zt-2 with EGT in one test pipe and AFR in other test pipe
-Shows Boost, EGT, AFR, and more
Kinetix Test pipes
NGK 1 step colder
Fuel Pressure gauge
Oil temp gauge
2 pod A piller
ECU harness (makes the wiring easier)

Its a really good idea to get a Wideband A/F ratio gauge. AEM, or Zeitronix. The Zeitronix can display a lot more, but it has a digital read out. Some people don't like that. Oh and I don't think you really need 2 EGT gauges....A/F is way more important (even moer if you want to tune)

Good luck

Thanks for the responses. So, do I only need 1 EGT gauge even though I have a true dual exhaust system?? Also, what heat range should I go with for this setup?

Thanks

I agree with the Autosport patch harness, but if you're paying a flat fee for the install, it will save the installer time but cost you $300. I did my own wiring install and did the bracket, blower and piping, but left the oil lines and fuel lines (and gauges) to Jeff at Avalon Racing.

I would save your money on the Iridiums and just go copper. You're going to change out the plugs every year anyway so why do you need longer lasting and very expensive, brittle-electrode plugs? The suckers break just looking at them. Go 1 step colder, not 2.

Also, don't waste money on the fancy APS pan. Get the JWT spacer (without the pre-tapped hole used in the TT setup). Only $100 and works fine.
