Default Tuning? Time? Money? twin turbo

Those with twin turbo setup:

-how often do you guys have to tune the kit?
-how much does it usually cost for tuning?

if you can, can you tell me what kit you are using?

thanks a bunch

I am planning to go with a tt setup, and don't have very much knowledge about tuning. If anyone can pitch in your comment, it will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks again

once you get it tuned, there would be no reason to have it retuned unless you did some additional major modifications or you moved to somewhere where different fuel was available.... Tuning should cost between $300-600 depending on your setup... You could probably run the base APS kit without tuning ever if you want. I put 9,000 miles on mine before tuning and the car ran perfect... Just wanted more power.!!

Cool thanks.
I was always under the impression that with turbo, you have to tune every few months. I always hear people say how a turbo setup is very hard to maintain and you alway have to get it check every few months to make sure everything is running correctly.

I have been running the APS TT since October and have already put 10,000 miles on them and had to make no adjustments at all....

this is probably true of a turbo'd car that also has a carburetor, but then again, you have to adjust a carb every few months anyway. Fortunately carbs are a thing of the past. except on motorcycles.
