I had SGP build me a short block with Pauter rods and Arias pistons [ 9 to1 ] .
On 92 octane , what would be the max boost level with a Supercharger ? If I was able to get it up to 14lb's at 6800rpm , could it be done safely ?

 

Yes, we did it on a car with a Procharger, 93 octane and 16 #'s, with cams etc.. We didn't rev up to 6800, but 6600.

 

you should contact Vortech and ask about upgrading your blower to a T-trim

 

With the set up Im thinking of , the blower will be spinning at 59,500rpm's range . I dont think it will be a problem . Vortech under rates thier blowers alot . I may have to upgrade the bearings in it thats all

 

We'll be testing this out with our Project G35. The motor is in the process of being built and will be going directly to Vortech for a high power supercharger application.
