Default Vortech with Headers Question??

As several know, I have my Vortech on order from Paul at Avalon and am trying to gather up whatever else I might need for the install while I have some spare money laying around. I have the following mods:

Injen dual exhaust
Topspeed headers
Plenum
Test pipes

With my complete exhaust system being opened up, someone told me I will definitely be losing back pressure and possibly lose some HP. All of the gurus here, what do you think? This person also mentioned that I might want to purchase the 9 lb pulley to negate some of the power lost by having the headers.

With this being said, will I lose significant HP with the opened up exhaust? Will it be noticeable? I am running all stock internals so I obviousely dont want to blow anything up so will it be safe to run the 9 lb pulley on stock internals? Lastly, does anyone know what the part # is of the 9 LB puley from Vortech?

TIA
Zach

check out this post. This issue has been debated several times. If you add headers, test pipes, and exhaust you may loose boost, but you will add power from the free flowing exhaust. I have a vortech with top speed headers, test pipes, 3" inch y pipe, 3" b pipe, greddy sp2, and 9lb pulley. I am boosting up to 10lbs. I would recommend you go with the 10lb 2.87" 6 rib. I was going to go this route but ditched the vortech all together and got a greddy tt......in the shop right now for the install

BTW, I have top speed headers for sale....$250. I have a pending buyer but if I don't have payment by Friday they can be yours.
