Just a word of warning if you are installing a TT kit on your car. I have had 2 stock exhaust manifold studs shear off on me while removing them for the first time after the factory installed them. Each time on seperate motors. One was on a 500 mile motor and the other on a 6000 mile motor. I had heard many mechanics cursing about having to remove them to do repairs before on Nissans but I did not thing it would happen with low mile motors. Essentially what happens is the star tip rotates off the end of the stud. Both times I had to tap a slightly smaller multi point socket onto the flat end and then turn them off...easy fix with the motor out of the car....but if it was still in the car I can imagine all kinds of problems because of the constrained space. Be careful!!
You can just put too nuts on the stud and back them off with two wrenches.
It doesnt surprise me, since the Nissan manual calls for well over 100ft/lbs of trq when installing a stand on the head...same thing with the lower intake manifold studs.

The reason I wanted to post is because a lot of guys may try to do the install themselves and have a problem. Yes double nutting them is a good idea but some guys would not have the mechanical experience to know to do that. Even the best mechanics get bit the first time and learn from it. Just trying to smooth the FI experience for first timers.
