But in any case I'll plan on being in the 11:50 range anyways so the roll bar is pretty much a must, just need to find a decent place that makes them to specification without attracting too much cops on the street
Correct~ No cage needed unless running faster than 11.50.... And a 5 point cage is needed after that on a normal framed car... It would include a standard 4 point which is behind the driver and the 5th point has to cross down the drivers door to the floor... We have a guy locally in NJ that builds custome frames and cages to NHRA specs and charges roughly $1000-$1300
