can't wait to see how this one works out! i'm kicking around the idea (doing a bit of exploratory research right now) on going with a high-compression NA stroked version...

All things being equal between a higher CR engine and a lower CR engine, a higher CR piston will make more power. However, a lower CR piston will have a lower detonation threshold and allows you to run more boost on the engine, therfore making more power than the higher CR piston. Just something to consider.

We are hopping to push anywhere from 750whp on pump gas to 1200whp on race gas and nitrus.

Please dyno this thing without the turbos so we can how much power it makes.
The intake manifold is the only restriction now that you have on your motor. Might try the APS tall boy.

You are right. If he wanted to get numbers for the stroker kit without turbos he need to find someone with the kit that has 11.0:1 or 11.5:1. That is the setup AEBS has for N/A cars.

Dammit compression ratio is not going to make more than a 10% difference. Your going down from 10.3.1 to 8.5.1 which 1.8 points in compression. That is equivalant to like 15% in power but that is too the crank.

It would get better numbers for N/A with the higher compression ratio. It does not matter because I am not going to dyno the car without the turbo's on it.

I never said you couldn't drive the car. Just didn't think you couldn't run the engine in N/A form on that low of a CR. I asked someone if the lower CR would effect the ability to just dyno it. A lot of them didn't see the point of dyno'ing before you put the turbo kit on (even after I said because 350Z owners wanted to know what a VQ35DE stroked would put down in n/a form). I guess you could dyno it then, mazzoo, any chance of this?
