They are just about ready to ship. The axles are back from the heat treatment shop. I called Frank on Thurs, but he was at SEMA and I couldnt catch him. I will have another update on Monday, but I am pretty sure they are just inspecting and packing up the axles.

More delays guys...sorry for this. Looks like a few sets will be shipping in the next couple days. They promise me all the sets will ship within 10 days. When I placed the order, they said it would be 3-4 weeks, so they are about 1 week late at this point.

doesn't matter any more... i'm tired of holding up 350evo, so i'm going ahead with the new rear end, guess these axles will just hang out in my garage until I get around to swapping engines / rear ends again...

oh well, better luck next time -- thanks again, Sharif

how much will installing the axles cost me? I was quoted $300 which seems a bit steep. Anyone shed some light on this please

should be cheaper than that... you just have to remove the exhaust, then it's six bolts for each half shaft to the final drive... pretty straight forward

but they also have to swap the inner CV's, which probably takes an hour. $300 seems a little bit high...but reasonably, assuming they do a good job.

When I placed the order, we were looking at roughly 4 weeks for delivery, and I have followed up with DriveShaftShop weekly to get periodic status updates.

Looks like all the sets will ship out this week. I am crossing my fingers that they all go out, but I just wanted to keep you all updated, and my appologies again for the 2 week delay.

OK, all of the axles have shipped! Woohoo! About half of you have already recieved them, and the rest shipped today 6/6/05 and you will have within 2-5 days.

If anyone needs a tracking number that I have contacted yet, shoot me an email or PM. Thanks!

The axles are going to your place. We talked about it...and I recall we just decided to send it to your house. It's on the way.... Do what you can to hide it from the authorities.
Tell her they are Roman Candles...convince her you are just getting ready for the 4th of July.
