Looks great. The gauges really match the OEM gauges. What are they?

Sorry, I missed that. What gauges did you get and from whom? What are your impressions of them so far? I looked at replacing my UltraLite Pro-Comps but, the price is crazy for the Nexus gauges.

Look wise they're very nice, clean and easy to read but today for some reason when I first started the car in the morning they didn't work at all. After awile of driving, I shut off the car and restarted it and they were fine.I found that weird.

I got them from my shop who did the install, can't remember the price since I paid one price for install and all the extras.

Thanks, I built the engine at the same time as the TT install. As far as whp dont know yet not dynoed but I can feel LOTS of torque
I dont really kick the car since it's not yet tuned so I dont want to blow my built motor , power is good but I'm sure I'll get much more after the tune. My shop has a load based dyno so I cant wait to get it on there !

Yeah thats what I thought. I was starting to think I might have made a mistake with my Vortech kit LOL. Hey if you are ever going to be in the Toronto area give some of us a PM. Would be nice to take a look at your setup.

wondering what your break in plans are...

i chose the quick method... currently- not consuming much oil at all (broken in well- piston rings seated)

started car..idled for some time--changed oil (mind you, my car was tuned before for the greddy kit w/ 440cc injectors, i kept these in up until the day before i dynoed)...street tuned to ensure safety up to 4500 rmps (making 5-7 psi at that level)...didn't go past 1/2-3/4 throttle...didn't go past 4500rmp for about 100 miles...
then street tuned past 6000 rpm to 10.something psi...drove it hard for 2 days...then swapped in the 550cc injectors and dynoed to the corrected numbers of 603rwhp/583 tq at 16psi (prolly close to actual 520rwhp/500tq)...tuned safe, pulled max of 8 degrees of timing...running great!

ask going deep to share his break in...he went the conservative route (he got his car back first- being cautious- i don't blame him)...

i pretty much copied sharif's method...worked great!

i didn't trust myself to put 1000-1500miles on my motor before tuning anyway...i would go crazy... i have just shy of 1000 miles on the built motor now

Wow ! those are great numbers

You must have a big smile on your face when you push it

I'm just starting to kick it a little more now, I put about 300km of conservative driving.

I dont think it's that safe to bring it to full throttle untuned, I'll put about another 300km (if I can resist) of break in time an then off for an oil change, tuning and dyno results.

I was wondering although you haven't tuned or driven much yet what your impressions are with the stock G35 bumper? Do you think it will flow enough to the intercooler to be sufficient? I ask because I want to keep my nismo bumper rather than going with something else.
