GB price = 10+ kits $5290 + shipping

25 kits $5290 and free APS Tallboy Plenum(valued at $395) + shipping

It looks like we have the potential for the 25 kits so join in soon.......

It will work on the G coupe with the APS supplemental kit....

I believe the supplemental kit for the G35 is like $125. Brian can confirm this...hopefully he'll chime in here soon.

The regular price for the APS single T kit is $5890...

You got it! Add another 400 to it if you want the plenum..so your saving quite a good bit of money...

For those who already made a down payment, how much is the shipping? (Just wanted to compare and see if there are any benefits by getting the kit from a local dealer.)

I know this kit shouldn't weigh close to 50lbs. So just to give you an example, shipping 50lbs. from Chicago to you, using UPS ground service should take 2-3 days of transit and cost around $20.00. That's it. Taken right from a UPS rate and service guide.

Now if GRD tries to make a profit on shipping and handling, then I don't know what to tell you.

Tuan estimated it btw 85-100 bucks. Not sure though....Honestly Id expect it to be around there since its a probably a bigger box and there are a lot of compnents involved. There is no way its gonna be 20 bucks..I can tell you that for sure.. I just shipped out a strut bar for 15 bucks by UPS.....I think 85 should be good...

I think getting the free plenum alone makes this groupbuy worth while...thats a 400 dollar item...

I'm used to dealing with UPS everyday. Most parts of the ST are compact. Ok, let's say the ST comes in 4 boxes each weighing 25 pounds, which I doubt, and shipping it from Chicago to NY is around a Zone 5. Using the UPS published (off the shelf rates) chart to a residential delivery, each box will cost $11.39 to ship to Chicago. That's a total of $45.56. Would this ST add 100lbs to our cars? I can't believe it would be even that much. Are there any large parts that I can't think of?

I have a feeling they arent gonna go by zones but that it'll be one flat rate for shipping. Most companies do that otherwise it gets too complex. So yeah they may end up making a little more profit from some....

Yeah and it's definitely a profit maker for most mail order companies but GRD isn't a mail order company and shouldn't charge more than they're charged from the carrier. Go to a UPS store and have them send call tags to pick up the kit and you'll pay the correct/honest shipping charges.

Yea, I like the idea of sending a call tag if they decide to do a flat rate shipping of $80-$100.

Count me back in. I'm calling GRD first thing tomorrow to throw down the deposit. Sure hope we get at least 10.

BTW I'm failsafe306 on the other site.
