F/I Reliability Survey for Current Owners
If that's the case, etx, a helpful post would then be:
Hi, I'm etx and I got xxx miles on my F/I kit from xxx before my rods/crank/bearings/whatever failed.
nis350ztt, I searched the faq for info on setting up a usergroup but could not find anything (I'm a forum noob, obviously). If a usergroup was set up as you suggested, how would people know to join it?
Another suggestion for people who don't want to type the info they wish to add would be to simply add the current mileage of their F/I setup in their sig and then add a blank post. . .

I'll take a screenshot of what the process would be to add yourself.

Was he modded or FI?
If he himself had something go wrong, maybe he could provide some more info, as I suggested in my previous post.

The stock setup should be good through 400RWHP and then some...
I don't know how long it will last under that power, but it doesn't slip as the APS TT car was doing 425 or something on the stock clutch.
I do have the RPS street disc and segmented flywheel.
I'm switching to a centerforce DFX and Prototype flywheel soon for testing purposes.

What was he doing when it blew?
How much time did he have on it before it blew?
Not that this particularly matters, as it is only my opinion, but I would never have bought a greddy TT. I stated that on day 1 as I began my FI research.
Greddy is an unrefined product, and it always has been and most likely will continue to be so.
It works, there is nothing "wrong" with it but I believe like anything kit installation/tuning has more to do with it than anything, but I think the greddy setup in the wrong hands is a bad combination.
I've got the Vortech SC, Full Crawford package Cats, Headers and Plenum and Borla TD Tuned to 7.5 and put down 390.1. Great install work done by CHL Motorsports in Charlotte NC, same as McDuck! Install and Tune mean everything!

The whole time I was researching FI, most of the time the only questions are "how much does it cost" and "how much horsepower am I gonna get", occasionally followed by "how fast will my car will be after I do this?"
Just wanted to update this thread:
2 weeks running with the car in my hand..
So far so good.
Fuel pressure above 50 PSI even under full boost
Oil temp no higher then 235 (During full boost WOT runs)
Water Temp no higher then 145 (see above comment)
Full boost 3200 RPMs EVERY gear above first
EGT no higher then 1150 (see above comment)

Anyway, I have 72,000 HARD miles on my stock block with almost 13,000 of those being HARD miles with the APS TT.... 9,000 of the 13,000 with stock map at 6.5lbs and the rest at 9.5 lbs with 0 problems.... Other than a car that gets no traction till 3500 rpms in 3rd gear!!!!
And to add, this was the frist APS TT in the USA!! Installed and beat on by MRC Motorsports.... I haven't touched even a hose clamp since the install 6 months ago... Oil change every 3k and tire swap every 8k... !!!!
