Is there really a difference with the 05 oxygen sensor?

I just pulled one off an 03 and put it on my 05, works great. Has the same number of wires and looks physically the same.
Is the difference in the CPU? I've seen people saying they're wideband.

yup, that is the same for all year of cars. The upstream one that mounts to the manifold/downpipe, is the one that changed in 04, and its the same part in 05. The way you tell is the newer one has 5 wires, and the older one has 4 wires. And of course, the one located downstream on the cat is always 4 wire.
