Default '05 FI options?

Aloha all-

I have an '05 track and have been following some of the excellent threads on forced induction options and am seriously considering the Greddy TT. Anyone know if this kit will work on the '05 as is?

I am a complete newbie here and any info/advice would be appreciated.

I wouldn't touch the greddy kit unless you build up your motor, buy a return fuel system, front mount intercooler, and have a great shop for tuning. If you want big power, all those things are going to be needed.

Oh, and a search or two wouldn't hurt

So far...no one has gotten the E-Manage to work with a 2005 (any model) yet.

APS just got a 300HP G35 and a 287HP '05 350Z (the 05's use a wideband O2 sensor) to start developing air/fuel maps and etc.

cloudy, it's all 04.5+'s, regardless of 287 of 300. Because all 04.5+ have wideband O2 sensors stock.

Thanks Zivman. I'll check out the links.

I do have an experienced tuner who is recommending the kit(along with a whole list of other upgrades) total cost around $12K installed.

They've done five or six Z's, and about the same number of G's. No one's done an '05 though, hence my question.

Any other insight would be greatly appreciated.

The major changes only occur on the Track or 35th aniiversary. The most significant is a change in the power curve resulting in increased horsepower (300) and decreased torque (260 i believe). The power peaks higher, which is supposed to allow for better 'on track' performance.

I also heard they were strengthening a few components.

I'm sure some of the other guys can speak more knowledgably about this.

I will be able to confirm compability of both the APS ST and TT system on the 05 model Z car tomorrow, all Z cars produced after 7th month 04 are in fact 2005 models, not 2004.5 models as some guys have named them.

I'm now very pleased to confirm that both the APS ST and TT turbo systems are compatible for 03, 04, and 05 model Z cars with the 287 HP engine - APS techs will now check compatibility of the APS turbo systems on the new 300 HP engine, I should be able to update you guys on this firment later on this week.
