Default Supercharger + 3.91?

Anyone run a supercharger plus the 3.91 gears?

I was thinking if I go the s/c path I might try to get a little less powerful s/c to keep it nice and safe and then add some gear to make up for any shortfall in Hp. But, is it possible to put the power down with 3.91's?? Not really overly concerned with 1/4 mile, although that's fun too, more for road racing applications. Any opinions from you guys that already have s/cs?

if you're really interested in tracking your car I'm sure the guys at 350EVO would be happy to talk to you about it. I bet you could pm dwnshift and would get some good info.

Would this be for a 6MT or a 5AT? For either, you will start boosting faster. With the 5AT I would think this setup would be way too aggressive. The 6MT would probably be fine, but your gears might start to feel a little too short and you would need to be ready to shift faster. The Z has fairly good low end grunt so with FI I just can't see this being needed. If you have a 5AT, the 3.53 FD would still be worth it though since it is not such an aggressive switch.
