UR pully kit w/ Vortech S/C possible?
I think i remember reading somewhere that you cant use UR pullies with a vortech kit because the crank pulley isnt the same size as stock. If this is true would it be worthwhile to get the other two pullies in the kit?
Thanks!
Thanks!

ASP makes a lightweight pulley (aluminum) that is the same diameter as the stock pulley so it will NOT underdrive the SC. I believe that they retail for around $130 just for the crank pulley. You can get them anodized any color you want too.

They do not stock them so it can take 3-4 weeks to get them. They will anodize it any color you want.

What would be the benefits of having a lighter stock sized pulley? Would it just make the car rev faster, or actually produce some sort of decent gain (more than 10rwhp). WOuld this in any way make it easier for the car to spin the sc and therefore reduce loss of power through all the pulleys. thanks
changing the vortech pulley will make the SC work harder. A crank pulley frees up power rather than making more so you work the car at the same rate but get more power out of the motor.
Jonathan- I have been contemplating converting all of the pullies to 8 rib rather than the stock 6. Do you think that this would be worth the effort and expense? I am hoping that a wider belt will be less prone to stretching. It seems like I am always having to tighten the SC belt.
I would assume the boost issue only relates to the smaller size crank pulley correct? We can still change out the water pump, alt pullies without having effect on the supercharger?
I didn't want to change the boost on the sc, but rather reduce the amount of power that is lost through all the pulleys. Am I assuming right that the kjr would help with that.
