Im installing my FMIC and i noticed that the air bag sensor does not clear the intercooler. Can someone please send a pic or explain how and where to relocate the sensor ? Thanks Dave

 

install it vertically in same spot

you can fabricate a little bracket, i can't take a pic, cause my car is at my shop

Here's a pic . . . BUT this was prior to flipping it vertically. Anyone remember which way the yellow color faces (up or down)? I don't have a way to see it on my car at the moment, (the following was added to original post) but I did find another thread showing that the yellow is facing downward . . .

If I'm correct, I think that's the way it operates (only vertically) . . .

 

the plug is on the bottom of the sensor when it is relocated vertically..i fabricated a metal plate that relocates the sensor about an inch lateral and superior to the original placement..this gave it the space needed to be mounted vertically

So does it have to be mounted vertically or will it work properly in the horizontal position like you have in the pic ?

 

You just have to use the top bolt rather than both. You can see mine between the two horns.
