Oh snap, me likely me likely Ubber CF pimpness

Also just to let you guys know from the sound of your BOV, that I did loosen the nut then used a ellen wrench on the BOV turning counter clockwise like half or a full turn loosening the tension and now when it sounds off it well sounds more like many of the BOV's I hear on other cars and not just one swoosh.

I guess you should try it to hear what I am trying to describe lol.

I purchased the seats from Sube Sports. They are Cobra Misano L. Thanks for the compliments.

So here's my question. I've been doin a lot of readin up on turbos and sc's in the past few weeks and have heard a lot that the stock headers are best for the sc's because there is too much air flow and decreases tq i believe? Would this also be true if you were to have headers on with this turbo kit? Wouldn't it be better to have a better set of headers so the turbo would breathe better, or does this work the same as the SC? Just wondering since i'm leaning towards this kit as my next mod. Thanks!

Sotck headers will not only last longer but probably make more power. Reason is that the increased dimater of N/A aftermarket headers reduce the velocity of the exhaust gas and will actually slow down spool up..

Ohhhh, so that applies to both turbos and sc's. So basically, don't do headers unless u plan on staying N/A, right? Kind of like the 3.9 final drive gears.

Well, I thought the logic didn't apply to superchargers because we don't need exhaust gasses to spool up turbos/bearings...

Headers will help increase torque on S/C's and it will allow for more hp/tq at lower boost levels which should translate to being safer on the engine, no? Increasing air flow with a S/C to a point is a benefit, right?

thats right. Wide tube thin walled headers w/ SC. Thin tubed thick walled headers with Turbos.

Well actually you won't be seeing more hp/tq at lower boost levels because you will be spooling much slower. I can testify to that. I'll have my stock headers back in within the next few months and I'll post some side by side graphs.

Would it help to have the OEM headers Jet-Hot coated for the TN ST?

It wouldnt hurt. It might help retain heat for the Turbo and the headers might last longer. But unless you are removing aftermarket headers or replacing the stock headers for some reason then I wouldnt bother. Our headers are a PIA to remove/replace.

Very strong results. I agree....this is probably close to 400whp on a dynojet. I recall running my car on a mustang dyno, back when I was making 400'ish whp on a dynojet. i only dynoed like 330whp on the mustang.

Yup. Mine are going back in on September 6th. My stock manifolds are at the powder coating place getting high temp coating now. I've got the DC Sports headers, which are basically the same design as the Nismo, Alphaworks, and Topspeed headers. So, people might still find my data usefull. I also am running on a dynojet.

Yeah they were completely covered in rust when I took them in. Hopefully they will perform much better this way too.
