I'm sure this has been asked many times but i have been reading up alot on the Z and would like to know which of these is the best choice for better power and reliability and, which is best for the car in a automatic trans ??? Also would like to know what a Z will run in an auto with one of these options in the 1/4mile ???

Check out http://www.sportzmagazine.com/ We got a Turbo comparision article coming out within a week. You can get it by subscribing now or go to places like Barnes and Noble. In addition, you can back order a comparision of 350Z superchargers we did.

I have waited several years for all the FI kits to come out to make sure I selected one that fits my goals best. If you cant wait a week, you seems like in a really big rush. I hope you make a wise choice.

which set up you go with is going to be decided entirely by your goals for your car.

First of all what are your goals? Are you planning to just take the kit out of the box and use it with the factory settings, or are you planning on going for major power?

Each choice is best for a certian set of applications. The best way to do it is to define your needs and what you want out of the situation.

How do you drive the car? City, Track, Highway? Cruise? Commute?

How do you want the car to feel power wise? Do you want tons of power up top 3500+? or Do you want instant power at 1500rpm?

Ben's (sins4u33) Ati Procharger Auto with 7500rpm shift, cat deletes and PS2's ran a 12.3

Exclamation Z???

Well i'm not sure what my goals are just yet but i was thinking if i was going to spend tons of money modding the Z i would be really pissed if i ran against my buddies car which is a slighlty modded M3(SMG) and get smoked by him, so i was curious what power levels they go to with one of the mods i listed and how well they do at the track, what other mods did he have done to run a 12.3 thats a great time i wanna be around that mark myself 12.0-12.7 to keep up or beat these new rockets coming out right from the factory.......

Ive waited 18 months to go FI. For one, I personally think you should "earn" it- in other words, you shouldnt just drop your car off at the shop and say "Make it fast!" You need to understand exactly what you are doing so you choose the right set up and then maintain it correctly. Even if a shop does all the work, you should understand what they are doing. Before you decide on a kit, you should be able to list the pros and cons of every system out.

You wouldnt say "anyone know any girls? Im tired of being single and want to get married next weekend." Dont rush into FI either. Doing it right will cost you $15k - $20K, its a big investment. Take your time, do some searches, talk to owners, sit back and read every post in the FI forum. Just my $.02.

If you an see if you can find someone neer you that has an FI setup and ask for a ride. I have given rides to several people who have Z's so they could get a feel of what my setup does.

I just finished writing an article for Sport Z Magazine testing Turbonetics, GReddy, JWT, APS, PE, & SFR turbo kits. I will let the article speak for itself and it should be out within one weeks time. Go to http://www.sportzmagazine.com and you can check it out. If you are interested, you can buy it at select Barnes & Noble, Hastings, and Books-A-Million bookstores or subscribe on or before May 30th and it will be included within the subscription.

Working on this article is something I have wanted to do every since I ordered my 350Z because it is such a significant investment it is worthy of a lot of research. I hope this article helps you and others within the Z/G community.
