The joys of modding. Sorry to hear of your problems but don't worry all will work itself out.

Hey I know how it feels to have this problem. I installed my Vortech Kit last week on my G and had it dynotuned and got the same bad news as you did. I made 332 HP on and dynojet but only hit at max like 6psi. When I called vortech they gave me the same thing about the test pipes. I am running an injen exhaust with XERD test pipes but I don't think that is the problem. I am using the 3.12 pulley and have the gates 93.5" belt and its tightened as much as the tensioner goes and is still loose. I am going to buy the 93" belt and hope that works. I get the same belt shavings you get in my engine bay. I hope this belt solution works for me!

I knew I saw someone who had done that. That is what it looks like to me. I cant see anywhere that it is rubbing except maybe for on the bolts. Hell, the clearance tolerances are just too close on this kit.

Hopefully I will swap out belts here shortly. Of course I want to figure out where the rubbing is coming from before I ruin another belt!

The belt dust is normal for a brand new belt. My belt was shooting dust for about 1 week after install.

I have had the system up and running for about 3 weeks now and have put almost 700 miles on it since. I need to go clean up the engine bay and then run it kinda hard to see if what dust is there is just leftovers or if it is still coming off the belt.

Order you a new Air Filter and put it on after the belt dust subsides. My filter was black from belt dust in just 3k miles.
