I wouldn't recomend it. The Z Vortech kit has the air filter right on the inlet of the compressor. I believe the G Vortech kit has the filter inline between the compressor and the FMIC. There is a similar thread on g35driver.com about this and the Procharger right now.

Think that is backwards . The G35 kit has the filter on the blower

The part #'s from Vortech are different. I'm becoming more and more interested in this kit.

They are indeed the same kit. I just installed a 350Z kit on my G35 last week and it was no problem. PM me if you need any details.

They are the same kit...different part number..but same kit. The airfilters used to be different, but now they all come with the lower profiles. This means on the 350Z, you wont have to remove your blower just to change the airfilter!

HOWEVER, the program inside the SplitSecond box is different for the G35, as is the wiring diagram. So the car will probably need to be retuned, and you'll need to pick up the G35 wiring diagram to complete the installation.

If this is an older 350Z kit, it probably comes with the larger filter. You will definately want to pick up the newer lower profile filter. We sell all the Vortech replacement parts if you need anything.

Dont think you ever had to remove the blower . Just undo the filter and push it down into the fender well . The front inner fender comes off real easy to get to the filter and the oil squirter that needs to be cleaned every now and then . I think the wiring is the same . Same pin # , just diff. color wires . Just make sure you go by the pin # , not color

Im including the smaller (g35 filter) with my 350z kit. I purchased it as a replacement from vortech.

You may want to look into running a 4inch diameter brake duct hose off the blower , down into the fender well with a bigger filter on it .Thats what I did . Able to run a much bigger air filter

In the installation directions for the kit it shows the different wiring diagrams for each the 350 and the G, they are the same just different color wires. As for the tune I would get it retuned no matter what you buy.
