We finished tuning this car a few weeks ago, the car is still on the stock vortech boost 8psi and made really good power honestly the most we have seen on our dyno with this set up.

Yeah we have had a lot of luck with the split second software that comes in the vortech kits, it does not have as much room to work with as a greddy emanage would, or some other tuning options might have, but you can still make good power and tune safely with it.

Not quite sure on this one I would have to go back and look, most of the time we pull 5 to 7 degrees of timing, we never got a baseline on this car before we bolted the charger on, the lowest numbers we have seen at the wheel with our tuning is 360hp which was on a stock 350z with a charger, which was driven pretty hard before he decided to put the charger on. I will get a dyno graph with a/f in the morning.

It's possible to hit the same peak power as a stock TT kit, but you will never have the same trq or power curve. Since the TT's build boost very early in the power band (vs. the linear boost build of the SC), they produce more trq and power much sooner than a Vortech SC. So the cars will feel very different on the road. TT's also have more peak trq than the SC's.
Yep I had a chance to ride in a APS Z a couple days ago **** was crazy fast! I then had a chance to ride in a Vortech G with cams and smaller pulley. The APS car was making 440rwhp and the Vortech was making 430rwhp. They were both VERY fast but the ride in the Z is something I wont forget. I talked with the owner of the Z and he said even though his car has more HP the G had beat him a few times. I thought that was odd.

Even if a supercharged Z made the same power as a TT Z if you lined them up together the TT Z would pull away from the supercharged Z just because the power curve is so different. Nothing against the supercharging systems they are great and east to maintain and very easy to work with. A TT car is always going to have the edge on a supercharged car if they are making around the same HP, but yes it is very possible to get the superchargers around the same HP.

Eric: Is this dyno from a Z running around Charlotte or one of your out of town customers?

We do have a correction factor setup on our dyno which gives us numbers that are comparable to those you would see on a Dynojet. We do this because most customers in our area are used to seeing Dynojet numbers rather than what our Dyno Dynamics would read without the correction factor.
Andy, this Z is from out of town although not too far out of town if I remember correctly. Think about an hour or two out of Charlotte. I'll ask Eric exactly where the guy was from, cause I can't remember.
